"Rainbow Days" (Japanese: 虹色デイズ, Nijiiro Deizu) is a Japanese shōjo manga series written and illustrated by Minami Mizuno. It was serialized in Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret magazine from May 2012 to March 2017, with a total of 16 tankōbon volumes. The story revolves around four high school boys with distinct personalities: Natsuki Hashiba, a hopeless romantic; Tomoya Matsunaga, a playboy; Keiichi Katakura, a seemingly cheerful guy with a sadistic side; and Tsuyoshi Naoe, an otaku. They don't belong to any club and spend their days hanging out together, experiencing the joys and tribulations of youth. Natsuki falls for Anna Kobayakawa, a girl he met after being dumped on Christmas Eve, and with his friends' support, he tries to win her over. In addition to the manga, the series has been adapted into drama CDs, a 24-episode anime television series (aired January-June 2016), and a live-action film (released in July 2018). "Rainbow Days" is known for its lighthearted and humorous portrayal of the friendships and romances of its teenage characters. The series explores themes of friendship, love, and personal growth.
