Shonen Maid

Shōnen Maid (少年メイド, lit. "Boy Maid") is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Ototachibana. The story follows Chihiro Komiya, a fourth-grade elementary school student who, after the sudden death of his mother, is taken in by his uncle, Madoka Takatori. Chihiro is highly skilled in housework due to his mother's teaching that "no work, no food." Upon seeing the messy state of Madoka's mansion, Chihiro decides to become his housekeeper in exchange for room and board, though his uniform is a frilly maid outfit. The series depicts Chihiro and Madoka's cohabitation, as well as Chihiro's interactions at school and with other characters, creating a heartwarming and comedic manga. The manga was serialized in B's-LOG Comic magazine from 2008 to 2017, with a total of 10 volumes. In 2016, it was adapted into a 12-episode anime television series produced by 8-Bit and aired on TBS and other channels. In addition to the manga and anime, there are also spin-off works such as novels and audio dramas.
