Mysteria Friends

"Mysteria Friends," (マナリアフレンズ), originally titled "Rage of Bahamut: Manaria Friends," is a Japanese anime television series based on the Rage of Bahamut social game. It was initially scheduled to premiere in April 2016, but was postponed and rescheduled to January 2019. The anime series follows the adventures of students at the prestigious magic school, Mysteria Academy, which teaches magic without discrimination to the three factions of humans, gods, and demons. The story primarily focuses on two main characters: Anne, a princess and honor student, and Grea, a princess born from a dragon and a human. The anime was produced by CygamesPictures and consists of 10 episodes. Despite an initial production team replacement in March 2016, the series eventually aired under the title "Mysteria Friends" and was well-received by Western critics, who praised its high-quality animation and the engaging relationship between the main characters with a significant amount of homoerotic and lesbian subtext.
