Prince of Stride: Alternative

"Prince of Stride: Alternative" is a Japanese anime series centered around the fictional extreme sport of "Stride." This sport combines elements of parkour, free running, relay racing, and sprinting, with teams of six, five runners and one "relationer." The story takes place at Honan Academy, where first-year students Takeru Fujiwara and Nana Sakurai attempt to revive the school's Stride club. They recruit Riku Yagami, a fast runner interested in all sports, although he initially declines to join. The club aims to win the prestigious End of Summer competition and bring the Honan Stride team back to its prime. Produced by Madhouse, the anime is an adaptation of the otome game of the same name and aired from January 5, 2016 to March 22, 2016. The franchise also includes light novels, an otome game, and a manga.
