Three Leaves, Three Colors (Sansha Sanyou) is a Japanese four-panel manga series created by Cherry Arai. It began serialization in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara magazine in February 2003, later moving to its sub-magazine Manga Time Kirara Carat in 2007, and concluded in 2019 with 14 collected volumes. The story revolves around three high school girls who each have the kanji for "leaf" in their names. They are Futaba Odagiri, an energetic transfer student; Teru Hayama, a seemingly innocent class representative with a surprisingly cunning personality; and Youko Nishikawa, a former rich girl who maintains a princess-like demeanor despite her family's financial downfall. Despite their clashing personalities, the three girls become close friends, navigating their lively and amusing high school life together. 'Three Leaves, Three Colors' is popular for its lighthearted atmosphere and distinctive characters. In 2016, a 12-episode anime television adaptation produced by Doga Kobo was broadcast, further expanding the work's popularity. The anime was released in North America by Funimation.
