Witchy Precure

Witchy Pretty Cure! (魔法つかいプリキュア!, Mahōtsukai Purikyua!), also known as Maho Girls PreCure!, is the 13th anime television series in the Pretty Cure franchise produced by Toei Animation. It aired on ABC and other ANN television stations from February 2016 to January 2017, succeeding Go! Princess PreCure and followed by Kirakira Pretty Cure a la Mode. The story centers on 13-year-old Mirai Asahina, a girl with a keen interest in many things, and Liko, a young magician from the Magic World. They meet and, along with their teddy bear Mofurun, transform into the legendary magicians known as the Pretty Cures to combat evil forces. The series' main theme is friendship, and its motifs are magic and jewelry. A sequel series, Witchy Pretty Cure!! Mirai Days, is scheduled to premiere on January 12, 2025, on ABC TV's ANiMAZiNG!!! block. The series is set in two worlds: the No Magic World where humans live, and the Magic World where magicians reside. The protagonists travel between these worlds, confronting various threats and fostering deep bonds of friendship.
