Koyomimonogatari, also known as Calendar Story, is the fourteenth volume overall and the second volume of the Final Season in the Monogatari Series. It comprises twelve short stories, rather than the usual arc-based narrative. These stories take place chronologically at various points within and between the main story arcs. The short stories are titled: Koyomi Stone, Koyomi Flower, Koyomi Sand, Koyomi Water, Koyomi Wind, Koyomi Tree, Koyomi Tea, Koyomi Mountain, Koyomi Torus, Koyomi Seed, Koyomi Nothing, and Koyomi Dead. The anime adaptation by Studio SHAFT was unusual, with episodes released weekly through a mobile app that launched in December 2015, with episodes beginning in January 2016. The app also served as a calendar with downloadable content. In the novel release order, it follows Tsukimonogatari and precedes Owarimonogatari. Narrated by Koyomi Araragi, the story revisits past events and explores the relationships between him and various girls throughout the timeline, highlighting character development and the interplay between humanity and the supernatural. It is known for its unique narrative structure, stylistic choices, and high-quality animation.
