Balala the Fairies: Finding Melody is the fourth season of the Balala the Fairies animated series, which premiered on January 26, 2015. The series' motif is music. The story follows Shirley, Maggie, Michelle, and Emma as they try to help the fairy Queen find her disappeared friend Melody, a skillful music fairy from the Music Castle. They encounter nine Musical Magicians and fight against the dark musical fairy Voiceless. Shirley and the other fairies suspect that Melody is connected with the dark power behind the scenes. What is the truth? Melody is a musician from the Music Magic World and a childhood friend of the Fairy Queen. She was transformed into the witch Voiceless. Melody has fair skin, purple eyes, and lilac hair in twintails. She wears a white tiara with a golden diamond on her forehead, a lavender suit, and white boots. She is gentle, outgoing, and kind. Melody used to be a skillful musician and a good friend to the Fairy Queen. However, she was wrongly accused of a crime and sent to prison, later escaping. Seeing the disappointment of the people of the Music World, her sorrow produced great destructive energy. During a fight with Camille, she was injured and also damaged by the magic light reflected by a harmonica thrown by Camille, turning her into Voiceless. In the final battle, she saw Rias' plot and her memories were restored. This season revolves around music and depicts how the fairies overcome difficulties and ultimately find the truth.
