The animation features Ruby and Labra as the main characters, along with a human partner named Ruri. The series uses Flash animation, and the episodes are approximately 5 minutes long. The story revolves around Ruby and Labra’s efforts to revive the Jewelpet TV anime, collaborating with Ruri, a wealthy young lady who loves Jewelpets, to carry out various promotional activities. The manga adaptation of this short animation was handled by Mako Morie, who had also worked on the manga adaptation of the first TV anime series, thus being considered a follow-up to the TV anime "Jewelpet Magical Change."
