"Boonie Bears: To the Rescue" is a 2014 Chinese animated film produced by Fantawild Animation and Le Vision Pictures, marking the first feature film in the "Boonie Bears" franchise. The story unfolds on a stormy night when two bumbling thugs, Maurice and Arnold, crash their vehicle on a mountain road while evading Tiki, a monkey lord, and his sidekick Babu, causing a yellow suitcase to fall from the wreckage. Simultaneously, logger Vick is testing his new logging tools, disturbing the bear brothers Briar and Bramble. Due to a series of mix-ups, Vick ends up with a suitcase containing a baby instead of his tools, while the bears mistake Maurice and Arnold for Vick. Vick then discovers a baby girl, Lola, in a bear suit inside the suitcase and, seeing a police alert about her kidnapping on TV, decides to return her home. During this adventure, he is wrongly identified as a kidnapper, pursued by the police, and has various encounters and collaborations with the bear brothers and Maurice and Arnold. Ultimately, they uncover Lola's background and confront the mastermind behind her kidnapping, leading to her rescue. The film combines elements of comedy, adventure, and family, depicting the journey of Vick and the bears from initial antagonism to ultimately joining forces to protect Lola.
