Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn Re:0096

Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn RE:0096 is a 2016 anime television series produced by Sunrise, which is a re-edited version of the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn OVA released between 2010 and 2014. The story is set in Universal Century 0096, three years after Char's Rebellion. The protagonist, Banagher Links, a boy living in the industrial colony "Industrial 7", encounters a mysterious girl named Audrey Burne. Audrey is trying to stop the Vist Foundation from handing over "Laplace's Box" to the Neo Zeon remnants known as "The Sleeves", an act that could spark another war. Banagher decides to help her and becomes entangled in the fierce battles surrounding "Laplace's Box", also becoming the pilot of the white mobile suit Unicorn Gundam. The TV series not only re-edits the OVA's plot but also adds new opening and ending themes and new footage with narration by Shuichi Ikeda, Char's voice actor, presenting a more compact and complete Universal Century story. This work is an important chapter in the Gundam series, exploring themes of war, peace, and the future of humanity.
