Crane Game Girls

Crane Game Girls, also known as Bishoujo Yuugi Unit Crane Game Girls, is an original anime series produced by Kyotoma. The first season aired from April to June 2016, with 12 episodes, and the second season, Crane Game Girls Galaxy, aired from October to December 2016, with 13 episodes. Each episode is approximately 5 minutes long. The story revolves around three high school girls—Asuka, Mirai, and Kyouko—who are chosen by Saya, an agent of the World Space Association, because they possess the potential to generate energy by playing crane games to prevent asteroids from colliding with Earth. To train them, Saya falsely tells them that they will be developed into idols and takes them to an arcade. Despite their suspicion about Saya's true intentions, they are unaware that the fate of Earth rests in their hands. In the second season, they become an idol group, but their manager, Saya, disappears on the day of a critical mission, and an idol group named Dark Cherry appears, challenging the Crane Game Girls. At the same time, Saya reappears as Dark Cherry's manager, revealing the truth about Saya’s betrayal and the reasons behind the invasion from Planet Dark Gorilla.
