To fulfill their wishes, Hand Shakers must battle other pairs and eventually face "God." The protagonist, Tazuna Takatsuki, is a high school student with a knack for fixing things. After accepting a repair request, he meets a sleeping girl named Koyori Akutagawa. Upon touching her, Tazuna awakens his power as a Hand Shaker.
