Scar-red Rider Xechs

Scar-red Rider Xechs (スカーレッドライダーゼクス) is a Japanese otome game developed by Red Entertainment, initially released on July 1, 2010, for the PlayStation 2. A fan disc titled Scar-red Rider Xechs: Stardust Lovers was released in 2011. The game series was also ported to the PlayStation Vita. In 2016, a 12-episode anime television series adaptation by Satelight aired from July 5 to September 20. The story is set in a world where the Blue World is threatened by the mysterious alien invaders "Nightfly O'Note" from the Red World. To counter these threats, humans establish the LAG defense agency in the Ryukyu Islands. The protagonist, a 17-year-old researcher Akira Asagi, is appointed as the commander of Ryukyu LAG and fights against the invaders alongside the sixth combat unit "IS," also known as the "Scared Rider Xechs." The anime's opening theme is "Ao to Kurenai no Forzato" performed by Tatsuhisa Suzuki and Mamoru Miyano, and the ending theme is "old revelation" performed by Kenn.
