Lostorage Incited Wixoss

Lostorage incited WIXOSS is the second original anime series in the WIXOSS franchise, produced by J.C.STAFF and aired from October to December 2016. The story centers around Suzuko Homura, who returns to her childhood town and reunites with her childhood friend, Chinatsu Morikawa. They become embroiled in a brutal card game called "WIXOSS," where memories are wagered as currency. Players known as "Selectors" battle using LRIG avatar cards, betting their memories represented as gold coins. Winning battles allows them to steal memories from opponents, while losing means sacrificing their own. Suzuko participates in this dangerous game to reclaim her memories with Chinatsu and to protect what she holds dear. The anime explores themes of friendship, memory, and the meaning of existence, continuing the dark and suspenseful tone of the WIXOSS series. It was followed by a second season, Lostorage conflated WIXOSS. There is also a manga spin-off, Lostorage incited WIXOSS ~Deadly Honest~, depicting the daily lives of the Selectors.
