《Nano Core》 is a 3D science fiction adventure animation produced by Coastline Studio, set on a fictional planet called Birthigin. The story revolves around humans challenging their creators, which ultimately leads to conflict and the outbreak of the Purple Fog crisis. To address this crisis, the elite initiates the N.S.P. project, giving birth to the "Nano Core". The protagonist, Ray, originally intended as a human weapon, breaks free from his predetermined fate and embarks on a journey to seek faith. The animation primarily focuses on Ray's growth and how it changes the future of Birthigin. The series consists of three seasons, with the first airing in 2014, followed by the second and third seasons. Additionally, there are spin-offs such as the short-form anime "Nano Academy". The complex world-building incorporates various elements including the Arca, mutants, and nanotechnology. The plot is full of twists and turns, the characters are distinctive, and the animation has garnered much popularity. 《Nano Core》has also been featured in crossover events in the mobile game 《Romance of the Three Kingdoms》 produced by Xindong Games.
