Saiyuki Reload Blast

Saiyuki Reload Blast is the third and final manga series in the Saiyuki franchise, created by Kazuya Minekura. It continues the story from Saiyuki Reload, following the Sanzo party as they arrive at the border of India. The manga began serialization in Monthly Comic Zero Sum in December 2009 and resumed in September 2024 after several hiatuses due to the author's health. In this new land, the Sanzo party face escalating battles and their tragic fate from 500 years ago. The anime adaptation of Saiyuki Reload Blast aired from July to September 2017 as a sequel to Saiyuki Reload Gunlock, produced by Platinum Vision. It portrays the Sanzo party's battles in India and their entanglements with their past destinies. This series is a culmination of the Saiyuki series, blending fantasy, action, and deep character emotions, highly appreciated by fans.
