Libra of Nil Admirari

"Libra of Nil Admirari" (Japanese: ニル・アドミラリの天秤, Nil Admirari no Tenbin) is a Japanese otome visual novel developed by Otomate, which has also been adapted into an anime series. The story is set in an alternate Taisho era Japan that lasted 25 years instead of 15. The protagonist, Tsugumi Kuze, agrees to an arranged marriage to save her declining family. However, before the wedding can take place, her brother commits suicide by self-immolation while holding an old book. Tsugumi then encounters members of the Imperial Library Intelligence Asset Management Bureau, known as "Fukurou," and learns about "Maremono," books that possess the power to influence their readers. She also gains the ability to see the "Auras" emanating from these books. To unravel the mysteries behind her brother's death and the "Maremono," she joins Fukurou, embarking on a journey filled with emotions, betrayal, and intrigue. The series blends mystery, fantasy, and romance, portraying a young woman's growth and choices in a turbulent era.
