Hinako Note

"Hinako Note" (Japanese: ひなこのーと) is a Japanese four-panel manga series written and illustrated by Mitsuki. It has been serialized in Media Factory's manga magazine "Comic Cune" since August 2014, initially as a supplement to "Monthly Comic Alive." The manga centers around Hinako Sakuragi, a shy girl with an affinity for animals, who aims to overcome her communication difficulties by joining her high school's drama club. However, upon discovering the club is inactive, she forms her own theater troupe with fellow residents of her boarding house. Seven volumes of the manga were released, concluding in January 2021. An anime television series adaptation by Passione aired from April to June 2017, comprising 12 episodes. The anime closely follows the manga's plot, depicting Hinako and her friends' journey of establishing a theater troupe, overcoming personal obstacles, and growing together. The opening and ending theme songs are performed by "Gekidan Hitotose", a group consisting of the main characters from the series.
