100% Teacher Pascal

100% Teacher Pascal (100％パスカル先生) is a Japanese gag comedy manga series written and illustrated by Yūji Nagai. It was serialized in Shogakukan's CoroCoro Comic magazine from January 15, 2015, to October 15, 2018, and was compiled into seven tankōbon volumes on September 28, 2017. An anime television series adaptation by OLM, Inc. aired from April 15 to December 16, 2017. The story centers around a mole elementary school teacher named Pascal, who is so dumb that he cannot even write his own name correctly. Pascal is whimsical and does whatever he wants in his classroom. Despite appearing as a responsible teacher, he acts eccentrically and has an obsession with money. He would stay at students’ houses without permission, and steal school lunch money for gambling. He also has a combative side, enjoying challenges and dressing as a samurai in snowball fights. He can change the shape of his body, growing large or splitting into pieces, and even emit rays of light from his mouth. Pascal used to be a gambler, but decided to train to win back his ex-girlfriend. This led to him being shipwrecked, becoming a monster extermination instructor, and finally a teacher. The series is known for its absurd humor and quirky characters.
