Gamers!

"Gamers!" is a Japanese light novel series written by Sekina Aoi and illustrated by Saboten. The story revolves around Keita Amano, a high school student who loves video games, and his encounter with the school idol and president of the gaming club, Karen Tendō. He is invited to join her club, but his rejection sets off a chain of events involving games, romance, and misunderstandings. Known for its alternating chapter narration by different characters, the novel explores their diverse perspectives on gaming and love. The series has received high praise, ranking seventh and eighth in the "Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi!" rankings. In addition to the light novel, it has been adapted into a manga and an anime series. The anime, produced by Pine Jam, aired from July to September 2017, and achieved fourth place in popularity on Crunchyroll during the summer season, an unusual feat for a short Shonen Action series. The narrative presents not only the fun of gaming but also the intricate emotional developments of its characters, particularly highlighted by its unique "misunderstanding-filled" romantic comedy style.
