High School DxD Hero

High School DxD HERO (ハイスクールD×D HERO) is the fourth season of the High School DxD anime series. It premiered in Japan on April 10, 2018, and was produced by studio Passione, directed by Yoshifumi Sueda, with series composition by Kenji Konuta, and character designs by Makoto Uno. This season adapts the second half of the 'The Heroic Oppai Dragon' arc from the original light novels and retcons some story elements from the previous anime seasons. The plot continues to follow the adventures of Issei Hyodo and Rias Gremory along with her peerage as they face new challenges and foes. The production aimed to be faithful to the source material, avoiding the creative liberties taken in prior seasons. Author Ichiei Ishibumi was actively involved in the production, providing significant input. High School DxD HERO continues the franchise's blend of fantasy, action, harem, and comedy elements and is known for its dynamic characters and exciting battles.
