Ai-Mai-Mi Surgical Friends

Choboraunyopomi Gekijou Dai San Maku Ai Mai Mii: Surgical Friends (ちょぼらうにょぽみ劇場第三幕『あいまいみー～Surgical Friends～』), also known as Ai-Mai-Mi: Surgical Friends, is the third season of the anime adaptation of Choborau Nyopomi's yonkoma online manga, Ai-Mai-Mi. The series, produced by studios Seven, aired from January 3, 2017, to March 21, 2017, with a total of 12 episodes, each lasting approximately 3 minutes. The Ai-Mai-Mi series centers on the lives of the manga research club members Ai, Mai, and Mi, along with their senior, Ponoka-senpai. They combat alien invaders, participate in tournaments, and try to create manga while experiencing various absurd situations. This third season continues the series' comedic style, showcasing the characters’ interactions through exaggerated and surreal humor during their club activities. Known for its short episodes, fast pace, and nonsensical humor, this season maintains these characteristics and features the subtitle 'Surgical Friends', possibly hinting at a medical theme or related plot points while still focusing on the daily lives of the club members.
