Saint Seiya: Saintia Sho

Saint Seiya: Saintia Sho is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Chimaki Kuori, a spin-off of Masami Kurumada's original Saint Seiya manga. Serialized in Akita Shoten's Champion Red magazine from 2013 to 2021, it comprises 16 collected volumes. The story is set within the Saint Seiya universe, after the battle with Gemini Saga. It introduces a new faction of female Saints called "Saintias", who are personal handmaidens of Athena and are tasked with protecting her and the Sanctuary from the threat of Eris, the Goddess of Discord, and her Dryads. The protagonist, Sho, is a young Saintia who fights alongside other Saintias and Saints to defend justice and peace. Saintia Sho not only preserves the classical elements of Saint Seiya but also adds fresh characters and storylines. In 2018, it was adapted into a 10-episode original net animation produced by Toei Animation and animated by Gonzo.
