Mr. Osomatsu 2nd Season

Mr. Osomatsu 2nd Season (Japanese: おそ松さん 第2期), also known as Osomatsu-san 2, is a Japanese comedy anime television series based on Fujio Akatsuka's manga series Osomatsu-kun. It is the second season of the 2015 anime series Mr. Osomatsu. Produced by Studio Pierrot, it aired in Japan from October 2017 to March 2018, consisting of 25 episodes. Continuing the style of the first season, this season follows the hilarious everyday lives of the grown-up Matsuno sextuplets as NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training), with more adult-oriented humor and satire. The original voice cast, including Takahiro Sakurai, Yuichi Nakamura, Hiroshi Kamiya, Jun Fukuyama, Daisuke Ono, and Miyu Irino, returned for this season. The story revolves around the Matsuno sextuplets who remain unemployed and live idle lives. The second season also maintains the episodic format of the previous season, with each episode consisting of multiple short stories, while adding new characters and settings. This anime received positive reviews and gained popularity, becoming a global cultural phenomenon.
