In this season, Umaru continues her relaxed and brother-dependent lifestyle while maintaining her lighthearted and enjoyable interactions with her friends, including Nana Ebina, Kirie Motoba, and Sylphynford Tachibana. Himouto! Umaru-chan R maintains the humorous and lighthearted tone of its predecessor, highlighting the strong friendships and familial bonds between the characters.
