《Yama no Susume: Omoide Present》is an OVA anime of the Yama no Susume series, divided into two parts. The first part, "Summer: Kokona's 8/31," focuses on Kokona. Finally, she meets her friends at the Yakko Kosoen and learns at home that her mother will take her to Chichibu to see the crape myrtles next Sunday. The second part, "Autumn: Hinata's 10/28," centers on Hinata. While looking for her lost acorn ornament, she recalls her moments with Aoi. Hinata finds the acorn decoration she gave to Aoi in Aoi's room and gradually remembers the past. Eventually, she realizes that the inscription on the acorn decoration is her name "ひ" and not "て," and she searches for acorns with Aoi in the autumn, rediscovering precious memories. This OVA depicts the precious friendships and family bonds of the girls in their daily lives, as well as the charming scenery of Hanno, with heartwarming visuals and delicate emotions.
