"My Girlfriend is Shobitch" (Japanese: 僕の彼女がマジメ過ぎるしょびっちな件, Boku no Kanojo ga Majimesugiru Sho-bitch na Ken) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Namiru Matsumoto. It began serialization online on Niconico Seiga in July 2015 and concluded in September 2019. The story revolves around Haruka Shinozaki, an ordinary high school student who confesses to the beautiful and diligent class representative, Akiho Kousaka, and to his surprise, she accepts. However, Akiho, while taking dating seriously, lacks experience and often makes overly suggestive dating proposals. The series is known for its unique romantic comedy style and the humorous interactions between the main characters due to their differing perceptions. The manga has been compiled into eight volumes. In 2017, it was adapted into a 10-episode anime television series by Diomedéa and Studio Blanc, directed by Nobuyoshi Nagayama, with scripts by Hideki Shirane and character designs by Shōko Yasuda. The anime's opening theme is "Eien Labyrinth" by Aoi Yūki, and the ending theme is "Koi no Himitsu" by Pua:re. Additionally, an OVA episode was released bundled with the manga's sixth limited edition volume.
