Food Wars! The Third Plate

Food Wars! The Third Plate is the third season of the Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma anime series, produced by J.C.Staff and directed by Yoshitomo Yonetani. This season is divided into two parts. The first part focuses on the Moon Festival, Totsuki Academy's annual gourmet gala, where students compete to earn the most profit by selling their cuisine. Soma Yukihira challenges Terunori Kuga, a member of the Elite Ten, aiming to surpass him during the Moon Festival. However, after the festival, Erina Nakiri's father, Azami Nakiri, appears and takes control of the school. He establishes a new governing body called the Central Gourmet Institute and eliminates all independent groups within Totsuki, including the Polaris Dorm. The second part revolves around the promotional exams, where Soma and his group challenge the Central Gourmet Institute through a Shokugeki in an attempt to overthrow Azami's control. Food Wars! The Third Plate aired in Japan from October 2017 to June 2018.
