Lupin the 3rd: Part V

"Lupin the 3rd Part 5" (ルパン三世 PART5) is a Japanese anime series based on the manga by Monkey Punch, and it's the sixth anime television adaptation in the Lupin the 3rd franchise. The series was produced by TMS Entertainment, animated by Telecom Animation Film, directed by Yūichirō Yano, and written by Ichirō Ōkouchi. It aired in Japan on Nippon TV from April 3, 2018, to September 18, 2018. The story is set in modern-day France and follows the master thief Arsène Lupin III and his cohorts—marksman Daisuke Jigen, swordsman Goemon Ishikawa XIII, and con artist Fujiko Mine—as they navigate both new and old adversaries. They also encounter a new character, Ami Enan, a teenage hacker. This series emphasizes the impact of the internet, social media, and high technology on modern heists and also explores the theme of trust within Lupin's crew. Notably, Lupin wears different color jackets from past anime series to acknowledge the history of the franchise.
