Basilisk: The Ouka Ninja Scrolls

"Basilisk: The Ouka Ninja Scrolls" is a sequel to "Basilisk: The Kouga Ninja Scrolls," set ten years after the events of the original series. The war between the Iga and Kouga ninja clans has ended, with a fragile peace established. However, old grudges linger, and new conflicts are brewing. The story centers on Kouga Hachirou and Iga Hibiki, young successors of their respective clans, who seem destined to find love. But not everyone is content with the outcome of the old conflict. Rumors surrounding the final showdown between Gennosuke Kouga and Oboro Iga cause dissatisfaction among figures like Tadanaga Tokugawa, who favored the Kouga clan. As tensions rise between the clans again, the political climate threatens to tear the two fated lovers apart, mirroring the tragic fate of the previous generation. This series continues the themes of ninja battles and tragic love, adding new characters and plot developments to a turbulent ninja world.
