Dagashi Kashi 2

Dagashi Kashi 2 (だがしかし2) is the second season of the Dagashi Kashi anime series, which aired in Japan from January to March 2018. The anime was produced by Tezuka Productions, taking over from Feel, who produced the first season. Satoshi Kuwahara directed the season, replacing Shigehito Takayanagi. The story continues to follow Kokonotsu Shikada, who doesn't want to inherit his family's dagashi (cheap sweets and snacks) shop, and Hotaru Shidare, who is passionate about dagashi. Hotaru continues to introduce the charm of dagashi to Kokonotsu in various ways to convince him to take over the shop. The season also features the daily comedic situations of other characters. There were some changes in the production team for the second season, with Mayumi Morita replacing Takayanagi and Yasuko Kamo for series composition, Nana Miura taking over Kanetoshi Kamimoto for character design, and Satoshi Motoyama continuing as the sound director. The voice cast from the first season reprised their roles, and new characters such as Hajime Owari and Yutaka Beni were added. Like the first season, the second season also has 12 episodes.
