Z/X: Code Reunion

Z/X Code Reunion is a manga series based on the Z/X -Zillions of enemy X- trading card game. It was created by Takuya Fujima, with the story by Tatsuhiko Urahata and supervision from Broccoli. The manga was serialized in V Jump magazine from November 2017 to September 2020, and has been collected into 3 tankōbon volumes. The story is set in the future where humanity and the Z/X, beings from another dimension, have signed a peace treaty. The story follows girls partnered with Z/X who study and live at Fujimisaki Academy established to promote peace. Among them, Azumi Kagamihara from the Blue World, together with her partner Z/X Rigel, must bear the fate of their world. The anime adaptation by Passione aired from October to December 2019, with 12 episodes. The anime follows Azumi Kagamihara and Rigel's story at Fujimisaki Academy building on the manga's narrative. The opening theme of the anime is "Destiny" by Yui Ogura, and the ending theme is "Girl Meets Girl" by Yui Ogura and Aya Uchida. An additional card pack, “Extra Pack 18: Code Reunion,” was also released, featuring characters from the manga and anime, including “Ena”, “Matoi”, “Shuri”, and “Yuni” with their respective Partner Z/X, as well as Z/X Overboost cards.
