Doreiku: The Animation

"Doreiku: The Animation," also known as "Slave District The Animation," is an anime adaptation of Shinichi Okada's novel series "Doreiku: Boku to 23-nin no Dorei," with a manga adaptation by Hiroto Ōishi. Produced by TNK and Zero-G, the anime aired in Spring 2018 with 12 episodes. The story is set in a dark world centered around the Slave Control Method (SCM), a device that allows users to enslave others through games. The loser of a duel becomes the slave of the winner, forced to obey their commands. Eia Arakawa, an intelligent but cold woman, becomes entangled with Yuuga Oota, the male protagonist, as they are drawn into this brutal game of slavery. The anime explores the dark side of humanity, depicting the depths to which people will sink to become the ultimate master. In addition to the anime, "Doreiku" has been adapted into a live-action film titled "Tokyo Slaves," and has several novel sequels and manga spin-offs, forming an extensive series.
