"My Girlfriend Is Shobitch" is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Namiru Matsumoto. It was serialized online on Niconico Seiga from July 2015 to September 2019. The story follows ordinary high school student Haruka Shinozaki who confesses to the beautiful and diligent class representative, Akiho Kosaka, and is surprisingly accepted. Akiho takes dating as seriously as she does everything else, but her understanding of sex is rather skewed, often suggesting overly sexual activities. The series balances pure romance with comedic and often lewd situations. A 10-episode anime television series adaptation by Diomedéa and Studio Blanc aired from October to December 2017. The opening theme is "Eien Labyrinth" by Aoi Yūki, and the ending theme is "Koi no Himitsu" by Pua:re. The anime title omitted the word “virgin” to adhere to broadcasting regulations. "My Girlfriend Is Shobitch" has also spawned OVA and radio drama adaptations.
