"My Sister, My Writer" is a Japanese light novel series written by Seiji Ebisu and illustrated by Gintarō. The story revolves around Suzuka Nagami, a beautiful and academically gifted third-year middle school student, who writes a novel about a little sister who dotes on her older brother. When the novel wins a light novel award, Suzuka, being the student council president, has her older brother, Yuu Nagami, debut as a proxy author under the pen name Chikai Towano to avoid complications. Yuu, in turn, uses this opportunity to improve his writing skills and meet new people. A manga adaptation by Kō Narita was serialized in Monthly Dragon Age from December 2017 to September 2019, while an anime adaptation by NAZ and Magia Doraglier aired from October to December 2018, consisting of 10 episodes. Despite criticisms regarding its animation quality, the series gained attention for its unique premise and the complex relationship between the siblings as they strive towards their goals.
