Aggretsuko

Aggretsuko, also known as Aggressive Retsuko (Japanese: アグレッシブ烈子, Hepburn: Aguresshibu Retsuko), is a Japanese anime comedy series created by “Yeti” for Sanrio. It began as a series of animated shorts by Fanworks that aired on TBS from 2016 to 2018. An original net animation (ONA) was launched globally on Netflix in April 2018. The series is set in modern-day Japan and centers on Retsuko, a 25-year-old red panda working as an accountant at a trading firm. She faces daily frustrations from sexist superiors and obnoxious colleagues, venting her emotions through death metal karaoke. The series has five seasons and a Christmas special, concluding on February 16, 2023. It has also been adapted into a comic book series and a mobile game.
