The Immortal Legend

"Di Ling Qu" (The Immortal Legend) is an original Chinese ONA (Original Net Animation) that aired from September 19, 2017, to February 5, 2018, consisting of 18 episodes. The story is set on the night of July 12, 1917, when strange phenomena occurred, such as the sun and moon shining together, chaotic tides, and buildings collapsing suddenly, throwing the world into crisis. To solve this, three aristocratic families of tomb raiders – Zhang, Han, and Cao – join forces to unravel the mystery and save the world. Among them, the kind and honest young master of the Zhang family, Zhang Tianqi, leads his team through perilous adventures, ultimately uncovering the secret of the ancient Loulan Kingdom. The story revolves around the mysterious Loulan tomb, telling an adventure that spans millennia. The anime blends action, adventure, and fantasy elements with a martial arts theme. While its CGI animation might have been acceptable by 2017 standards, it appears rough compared to modern CGI animation. The characters are stiff in their movements, and their facial expressions lack nuance. Additionally, the characters' development is weak, and the plot progression is slow.
