ルパン三世 ルパンは今も燃えているか?

"Lupin the 3rd: Is Lupin Still Burning?" is an OVA produced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the original Lupin the 3rd manga. Initially released as a bonus for the first volume of the "Lupin the 3rd PART5" Blu-ray and DVD, it was later screened in theaters in 2021 alongside the 4K remastered version of "Lupin the 3rd: The Castle of Cagliostro." This OVA, with original creator Monkey Punch as the general director, tells the story of Lupin and his gang being invited by the mysterious Mr. X to participate in a car race. During the race, Fujiko infiltrates a mansion containing treasure, only to be captured by Mr. X and Kyosuke Mamo. Subsequently, Lupin and Zenigata are sent to the past by Mamo's time machine, where they battle past adversaries such as Pycal. Mr. X and Mamo's goal is to destroy the Lupin family through a time paradox. This work brings together many villains from the first series, making it a nostalgic treat for Lupin the 3rd fans.
