"Grimms Notes The Animation" is an anime adaptation of the mobile game of the same name. The story takes place in a world created by beings known as "Story Tellers." In this world, each person is born with a "Book of Fate" where their entire life is written in advance. However, some rogue Story Tellers known as "Chaos Tellers" secretly write bad events into people's books. The protagonist, Ex, and his companions Reina, Tao, and Shane, were born with blank "Books of Fate," leading to their ostracization from society. In their quest to find their purpose, they embark on a journey where they encounter famous fairy tale characters like Cinderella, Momotaro, and Snow White. They must also work to stop the Chaos Tellers and bring peace and order back to the world. The anime was produced by Brain's Base and aired in January 2019, comprising 12 episodes. It's licensed in North America by Sentai Filmworks.
