DUEL MASTERS!

Duel Masters is a multimedia franchise consisting of manga, anime series, a trading card game (TCG), and video games. It began as a manga adaptation of Magic: The Gathering before branching off in 2002. The core of Duel Masters is a card game revolving around five civilizations: Fire, Water, Light, Darkness, and Nature. The story usually centers around young boys who love card games, like Shobu Kirifuda, who aspires to be a powerful duelist like his father. During duels, the monsters on the cards come to life. The franchise has gained significant popularity in Japan, resulting in numerous anime series, manga adaptations, and video games. The TCG was initially developed by Wizards of the Coast, but it has been discontinued in Western countries and is now primarily published by Takara Tomy in Japan, where it remains one of the most popular card games. Although the English version of the Duel Masters TCG is discontinued, the franchise still enjoys a broad fanbase in Japan and other regions. It has also collaborated with other IPs, such as Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic: The Gathering. The franchise is popular among anime and card game enthusiasts for its captivating storylines and unique card battling mechanics.
