ゆるゆり,

"YuruYuri" (ゆるゆり) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Namori. It originally began serialization in Comic Yuri Hime S magazine in 2008 before moving to Comic Yuri Hime. This series, characterized by its easygoing yuri atmosphere and everyday comedy, follows the daily lives of four female students from the 'Amusement Club' at Nanamori Middle School: Akari Akaza, Kyoko Toshino, Yui Funami, and Chinatsu Yoshikawa, along with the members of the student council. Despite the word 'yuri' in its title, the series focuses more on showcasing the friendships and comedic interactions between the characters rather than emphasizing romantic relationships. The manga has been adapted into several seasons of TV anime, OVAs, and theatrical anime films, as well as spawning various spin-off manga and web animations. The anime adaptations were produced by different animation studios, including Doga Kobo, TYO Animations, and Lay-duce, each with slight variations in style but all maintaining the lighthearted and enjoyable atmosphere of the original work. "YuruYuri" has gained a dedicated fanbase due to its unique characters and relaxing storylines.
