Domestic Girlfriend

Domestic Girlfriend (Japanese: ドメスティックな彼女, Domesutikku na Kanojo) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kei Sasuga. It was serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine from April 23, 2014, to June 10, 2020, with its chapters collected in 28 tankōbon volumes. The story follows Natsuo Fujii, a high school student who is in love with his teacher, Hina Tachibana. After a mixer, he sleeps with a girl named Rui Tachibana. Later, Natsuo's father announces his remarriage, and the new wife turns out to be the mother of Hina and Rui. Natsuo's life becomes complicated as he finds himself living with both his crush and the girl he slept with, now his stepsisters. Domestic Girlfriend explores themes of adolescence, family, friendship, growth, and trust, while also delving into controversial topics like student-teacher relationships and step-sibling bonds. The manga was also adapted into an anime series produced by Diomedéa, which aired from January to March 2019. The series is known for its complex character relationships and emotional entanglements.
