Rinshi!! Ekoda-chan

"Rinshi!! Ekoda-chan" is a Japanese 4-panel manga series created by Yukari Takinami, serialized in Kodansha's "Afternoon" magazine from 2005 to 2014. The manga humorously and with a touch of darkness, depicts the daily life of Ekoda, a 24-year-old freelance woman living in Tokyo. She often goes naked at home, juggles various temporary jobs including telemarketing, nude modeling, and hostess work, and comments on contemporary social phenomena from her unique perspective. Ekoda's romantic life isn't smooth either, and she battles against women she calls "birds of prey" who use their cuteness and feigned stupidity to attract men. The work resonates with many female readers through its honest and sharp portrayal. In addition to the manga, it has also been adapted into a live-action TV drama and a TV anime, which aired in 2019. Each anime episode is produced by different directors, character designers and animation studios, and includes interviews with voice actors and other staff. The anime can be streamed on platforms such as Crunchyroll Amazon Channel.
