劇場版 Free!-the Final Stroke-

"Free!–the Final Stroke–" is the final chapter of the "Free!" anime series, produced by Kyoto Animation and Animation Do. It is divided into two parts: the first part was released on September 17, 2021, and the second part on April 22, 2022. These films continue the story from the third season, "Free!-Dive to the Future-", and depict Haruka Nanase and his friends as they challenge themselves on the world stage. The first film focuses on Haruka's encounter with a fellow athlete from the All-Japan Invitational during a short break before heading to Sydney, and his subsequent decision to challenge world champion Albert Volandel. The second film delves into Haruka's struggle after his first appearance on the world stage, as he becomes fixated on Albert's swimming and loses his way, striving to rediscover the meaning of his own swimming. These two movies deeply explore themes of friendship, competition, and the pursuit of dreams, providing a satisfying conclusion to the "Free!" series.
