My Hero Academia Season 4

My Hero Academia Season 4, produced by Bones, aired in Japan from October 12, 2019, to April 4, 2020. This season adapts the manga from the latter half of the 14th volume to the beginning of the 21st volume, covering the "Shie Hassaikai Arc," the "Remedial Course Arc," the "U.A. School Festival Arc," and the start of the "Pro Hero Arc." It follows Izuku Midoriya and his classmates during their Hero Work-Studies, where they confront the Shie Hassaikai to stop them from creating a Quirk-Destroying Drug and save a young girl. Additionally, two students attend a special Hero License Course due to failing their previous exam. The U.A. School Festival then takes place, with Class 1-A performing a dance and live band performance to ease public doubt. The season also reveals new hero rankings and the retirement of a major hero. Funimation licensed the English version for North America, simulcast on Crunchyroll, Hulu, and FunimationNow, with a delayed premiere on Toonami.
