The Relative Worlds (Japanese: ソウタイセカイ, Sōtai Sekai), also known as Even if the World Will End Tomorrow (Japanese: あした世界が終わるとしても, Ashita Sekai ga Owaru Toshitemo), is a Japanese CG original net animation (ONA) series produced by Craftar. It is divided into two parts, which were released on Hulu Japan on April 28, 2017, and May 5, 2017, respectively. Set in Japan in the year 2020, the story focuses on Shin Hazama, a third-year high school student who, after losing his father, encounters a version of himself from another Japan named Jin. His everyday life begins to crumble, and a battle against another world and another self begins. Subsequently, Craftar released a film adaptation, Even if the World Will End Tomorrow, on January 25, 2019. This film follows a slightly altered plot, focusing on Shin and his childhood friend Kotori Izumi and how they confront the challenges from a parallel universe. The work blends action, drama, and science fiction elements, exploring themes of self, parallel universes, and destiny. Both the ONA and the film were written and directed by Yūhei Sakuragi. The film was screened at the 2019 Annecy International Animation Film Festival and premiered in the UK at Scotland Loves Animation 2019.
