Haikyu!! To the Top

Haikyuu!! To the Top (ハイキュー!! TO THE TOP) is the fourth season of the Haikyuu!! anime series. This season continues the story from the previous three seasons, following the Karasuno High School volleyball team as they advance to the national tournament after winning the Miyagi Prefecture Spring Tournament qualifiers. The season is split into two cours, with the first airing from January to April 2020, and the second delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic until October to December 2020. As they prepare for nationals, genius setter Tobio Kageyama is invited to the All-Japan Youth Training Camp, while Kei Tsukishima is invited to a special rookie training camp for first-years in the Miyagi Prefecture. Feeling left behind, Shouyou Hinata, without an invite, decides to sneak into Tsukishima's training camp, working as a ball boy to improve himself and analyze information on the court in preparation for the upcoming national tournament. This season delves into the technical and psychological growth of the characters, and their efforts to reach the top. It also introduces new rivals, such as Nekoma High and Fukurodani Academy, making the national tournament more competitive and the story more thrilling.
