Nekopara

Nekopara (Japanese: ネコぱら), is a series of adult visual novels developed by NEKO WORKs and published by Sekai Project. The series is set in a world where humans live alongside catgirls, known as 'Nekos'. It follows the lives of Kashou Minaduki and his sister Shigure, and the catgirls who live with them, primarily focusing on Kashou's pâtisserie 'La Soleil' and Shigure's family life. The first game in the series, Nekopara Vol. 1, was released in December 2014. The series has gained popularity for its cute catgirl characters and lighthearted storylines, leading to adaptations in other media, such as anime and manga. An all-ages OVA anime adaptation was released on Steam in December 2017, and it became one of the top earners on the platform. A television anime series, produced by Felix Film, premiered in January 2020 and is licensed by Funimation in various English-speaking regions. In addition to games and anime, the series has spawned manga adaptations and mobile games. The Nekopara franchise has sold over 6 million copies worldwide, making it a fan favorite.
