"Lord El-Melloi II's Case Files: Rail Zeppelin Grace Note - A Grave Keeper, a Cat, and a Mage" (Japanese: ロード・エルメロイⅡ世の事件簿 {魔眼蒐集列車[レール・ツェッペリン]} Grace note 墓守と猫と魔術師) is a spin-off work from the "Fate" series, adapted from the light novel series by Makoto Sanda. The story is set ten years after the events of "Fate/Zero", focusing on Waver Velvet, who survived the Fourth Holy Grail War and has now taken on the title of Lord El-Melloi II. He serves as a lecturer at the Clock Tower, the center of magecraft education, while solving various mysterious cases commissioned by Reines El-Melloi Archisorte (the younger sister of the late Kayneth El-Melloi) and the Mages Association, along with his mysterious apprentice Gray. The series combines elements of magic, mystery, and suspense, showcasing the political intrigue within the Clock Tower and the darker aspects of the magical world. The special episode "A Grave Keeper, a Cat, and a Mage" serves as episode 0 of the TV anime, depicting Lord El-Melloi II's life in the Clock Tower and an assassination attempt on him.
